Artist's statement:

I trained at the Limerick School of Art and Design as a graphic designer, and after a few short years in Irish television and advertising, I changed career and went to work in local government. Now I am coming back to my first love and painting scenes of life in and around Reading.

My latest project is designing cards and recipes based on life at my allotment near St Peter's Church. It’s amazing how many green veg can be used in a Nicoise salad, not to mention how delicious courgette and fennel muffins are, and who knew that beetroots made a great basis for chocolate brownies?

Commissions welcome.
