Record the RGA in our 90th year!

Dear Members, the RGA Website and Archive is looking for any work that reflects the RGA's activities. So if you have any existing works or fancy creating something during our 90th year, Iā€™d love to show some on the website. Please send to webmaster@rga-artists.org.uk.

"On Wednesday 5 March 1930 a meeting took place of those interested in matters of Art, and with the object of forming a society for the exhibition of works of Art." And so it all began, we are now in our 90th year!

AGM

Due to the coronavirus crisis the AGM which was due in April has been postponed until we can hopefully hold it later in the year. Many thanks to the current RGA Council for continuing in their roles until then.

We have positions vacant. Please consider volunteering to help run the RGA, it's a great way to meet fellow members, learn about the art community in Reading and get involved.

Carole P. and Carole S. have come to the end of their 3 years on the RGA Council as Councillors, although both have served for many years previously in a variety of roles. We thank them both for all their hard work, drive and support.

Positions vacant are:

RGA Fridays co-ordinator
Exhibition Secretary
Publicity Officer
5 Councillors

Please contact us at info@rga-artists.org.uk for more information.

RGA activities have been postponed until further notice.

RGA 90th Annual and Anniversary Exhibition 2020
"Drawing in the Broadest Sense
"

Unfortunately, the 90th Annual Exhibition we had planned for September will not be going ahead. Although Reading Museum is open again to visitors, they will not be in a position to host us this year. They hope to welcome us again next year, all being well.
