Reading is my home town, I have lived, loved, worked and learnt here. I now create my paintings using a wide range of materials - anything that makes a strong mark! My image making always begin from seen items, either purposely arranged or unexpectedly discovered. My first pleasure is drawing and when that's gone well the excitement of colour is inevitable. It's my belief that a prudent artist's studio rubbish-bin is ever overflowing!
