54. Bel & The Dragon, Oil on Linen (unframed), 35 x 27cm, £125

'Bel & The Dragon' evokes a happy memory of a day spent painting aboard the 'Majestic Bel' barge. The event was organised by another member of the Guild to celebrate her birthday.

 

55. All in a day's work, Oil on Linen (unframed), 30 x 25cm, £75

'All in a day's work' takes us back to when it was commonplace to see people working in close proximity outdoors – without having to wear face masks.

 

56. Blake's Wharf, Oil on Board (unframed), 42 x 30cm, £150

'Blake's Wharf' evokes another happy memory of a day spent painting en plein air around Blake's Lock. The event was organised by the Reading Voluntary Action Group 'Jelly'.

 

These three paintings are all worked from memories and sketches I made pre-lockdown.
