Having painted from a young child and watching my Father and Grandfather paint, I have found it is in my blood to express myself in this way. The towns and countryside of Berkshire and further afield in Great Britain give me diverse inspiration. I do not have a favourite medium to work in but like to experiment and I am influenced by the properties of the materials I use, be it print, paint, ink or collage. I graduated in physics but always seemed to find my way to the art department to indulge my artistic side. I always carry a sketchbook to capture ideas, characters and interesting views, as well as observing everyday scenes in different seasons.
