Connell quit a very successful IT career in 2019 to study classical drawing and painting at the Barcelona Academy of Art.

Since returning from Spain, he has been building both on the technical skills learned whilst at the Academy, as well as expanding his own artistic voice. Connell’s main area of exploration right now is portraiture although he also has a strong interest in still life and landscape painting. He is available for commissions.
