I like to paint landscapes and seascapes, often places I have visited and enjoyed, or have found interesting. My preference is working in oil, appreciating the fluidity, richness of colour and it’s forgiving nature.

I paint for myself, I enjoy the process and the total immersion of concentrating on a place, a time, a memory. I try to convey something of the mood and atmosphere that I have experienced.
