I am passionate about the flora and fauna within nature and the natural environment and am particularly interested in the contrast between strength and fragility within the natural world, how there is a fine line between thriving and decaying or being lost in a hostile environment. As an artist and printmaker, I am interested in the layers and marks that make up the facets of an image and enjoy using pastels, coloured pencils, acrylics and watercolour and ink wash to explore textures and patterns.
