My favourite subjects to paint are coastal scenes and landscapes which are influenced by my love of the British coastline and countryside. I enjoy painting various places that I have visited.
Atmosphere,colour and light are my main inspiration when painting land, sea and sky. I paint in a variety of media and styles preferring to use which ones I feel suit the subject matter at the time.
I have also now become an Urban Sketcher and am enjoying taking my sketchbook with me and producing urban sketches recording places and events in towns.
