Congratulations to Belinda Fitzwilliams winner of the 2022 Marie Dyson Award for her two watercolours I Love My Cello and Nude at Dusk. Clive said about the winning artworks saying “Belinda has captured the essence of her subjects. Understated but visually strong images.”
Belinda, a long-standing active member of the RGA, was stunned, later saying she was “over the moon”.

Clive also awarded second to Mick McNicholas for his oil painting The Living Embodiment of Frida Kahlo saying “Remarkable front on portraits. Sensitive and delicately handled” and third to Linda Saul for The Sheer Cliff Crumble saying “Clever use of mixed media: collage, watercolour, print & text. A composite storyboard”.
