Exhibiting Member

Belinda Fitzwilliams

I have been drawing and making sketches for my work since childhood. I taught Watercolour and Drawing for some fifteen years in Adult Education. Ten years ago I won a Drawing Scholarship with The New English Art Club, N.E.A.C. and won the Dover Street Arts Club Prize for my exhibition of Drawings, exhibited with the N.E.A.C. at their annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London.

From my knowledge from the scholarship year, experiences on art courses and from teaching, I have established an acclaimed strength in sketches and other small format media which all contribute as considerations to my final painting.

Many opportunities have arisen since, and I now exhibit my drawings, watercolours, etchings and monotypes at several London and local Galleries.

I am known for my innovative and changing work, including my love and enjoyment of Abstracting. I have a skill and appreciation for both the drawn line, and use of exciting colour.
