I trained at Guildford School of Art and spent my career teaching Art & Design and Textiles.

I loved the stimulus of teaching young people, but now love equally developing my own work. I use a variety of media, but my main focus is printmaking which I have also used on my sculpted textile figures.

My interests are varied and inform my work. I am inspired by science and nature. Much of my work focuses on the beauty of the natural world and our impact upon it. I am interested in the power of art to highlight our human condition. I also enjoy the written word and am inspired by poetry.

I research and develop my ideas using sketches and photographs I have taken, or images I find that inspire me.
