I have two distinct art practices. Firstly I paint in waterbased media. My paintings are highly textured landscapes built up with collage, often inspired by Iceland which I visit frequently. An elected member of the Royal Watercolour Society I regularly exhibit in London, primarily at Bankside Gallery and the RWS Gallery in Whitcomb Street. I have also exhibited at the Mall Galleries and RA Summer exhibition.

My newer practice is producing abstract digital images through writing custom code. These images are rooted in geometric and mathematical forms. In this work I draw heavily on my background as a software developer and a recently attained MSc in mathematics. The works take physical form printed on paper or aluminium. Two of my works were shown at the Bridges Mathematics and the Arts conference in Galway in 2026.

I am a past chair of the RGA and in 2019 I was the originator and organiser of the Reading Gaol Hug when 1000 people surrounded the gaol holding hands in support of the campaign to establish an arts centre there.
