Paul Woolley

I am a Printmaker and Painter and exhibit both locally and nationally. My work relates to diverse aspects of landscape and the environment, with a special interest in natural/organic forms and how they can interact with more geometric shapes to form new images and motifs. Many of the motifs that I use are often quite detailed and can alter greatly, especially when different colour combinations are applied. I am also very interested in the use of texture and line in both my printmaking and painting.

I gained a BA Degree at Bristol Polytechnic, Faculty of Art and Design in 1974 and have worked as a picture framer and conservator in the past. The rest of my working life has dealt with the training of young people – especially at Reading College.
