Picture of the Month for November 2025 is Old Shed by Shelagh Casebourne. It was chosen from the Members Gallery by Philip Alexander.

I imagine the artist while out walking happening across an old dilapidated shed, one that most people would walk by and probably not give a second glance, Others may think it an unsightly rusty old shed in need of demolishing. However the artist sees something they would love to paint. A feeling I have experienced many times.

Shelagh has I feel demonstated this feeling. She has captured the rusty corrugated steel cladding and feeling of abandonment of this old shed. I like the shaded glimpse into the interior with the burst of light through a hole in the roof. She has made this old shed a place to remember.
