The Reading Guild of Artists (RGA) is delighted to present its 92nd Annual Exhibition. Another milestone for the RGA, and once again the Old Fire Station Gallery in Henley has been chosen as the venue. ‘Continuum’ is this year’s title and describes how people keep making art throughout history and throughout life regardless of what is going on in the world. Indeed, world events as well as personal circumstances can inspire artists to explore and develop their creativity, often resulting in beautiful and uplifting work. And for the RGA – after more than 90 years of annual exhibitions – continuum is something that ‘keeps on going, changing only slowly over time’. Art flows on, and in this annual showcase of RGA members’ work, the hope is that others will be encouraged to begin or continue their own artistic journeys.
