CANCELLED
Due to the Met Office weather forecast currently in place for the Maidenhead area tomorrow, we have sadly taken the decision to cancel this painting day. Hopefully we will be able to re-visit Taplow Court another time.
The open day is, at time of writing, still going ahead, so if you are happy to proceed independently, or would just like to visit, you may of course do so. Please do take the time to check yourself about the opening:

We have kindly been given permission to come along to paint in the grounds at the last open day of the year of Taplow Court (now a Buddhist Centre). Meet in the car park.
Entry and parking is free and there will be tea and cakes to buy in the cafe from 2pm. There are toilets on site.
Taplow Court is a Grade II listed building, with its origins in the 16th century, although the current building is high Victorian in style. In the early 20th century it was the home of the Grenfell family. Ettie Grenfell was a great Edwardian hostess and her home was a gathering place for a group of aristocratic intellectuals known as The Souls.
A prompt arrival is advised as the open days are very popular and parking, although fairly extensive, can become full later on!
We will meet in the car park 12 – 12.15.
Check out the other planned Summer Painting Days.
