Last year we took part in the first Community Festival to be held at the beautiful Whiteknights campus. This is an opportunity to paint or sketch across the university campus with an invitation being extended to the wider community to take part in this ‘paint out’. There will be a painting ‘throw-down’ at the end of the afternoon (meet at 2:50 pm back at Park House), which we anticipate will be judged by Professor Robert Van de Noort CBE, the Vice Chancellor of the university; the prize will be kudos alone! 

There are plenty of cafes and toilets across campus. See the Whiteknights Campus map for details. Or just bring a packed lunch and enjoy the beautiful parkland setting.

Free parking is available on the Whiteknights campus for the Community Festival.

There are regular buses that run to the Whiteknights campus. Information on getting to the Whiteknights campus can be found on the University of Reading website.
