Nature has always been my passion and I continue to be fascinated by plants, landscapes and weather. I try to depict the essence of my subject matter striving to capture movement, energy and atmosphere in my work.

I am inspired by a variety of different surfaces, be it plaster, slate, paper or canvas. Increasingly, I find I am using wide ranging combinations of different media and techniques in order to capture the freshness of the moment.
