Picture of the Month for February 2026 is Lulworth Cove Pebbles by Jane Somner. It was chosen from the Members Gallery by Jayne Kozlow.

I was drawn to the beautiful delicacy of Jane’s ‘Lulworth Cove Pebbles’. The way Jane uses colour and line so its never overworked but still expressive and perfectly captures the feeling of place is sublime. As a printmaker I also relate to the pure excitement of watercolour where colours move and blend in unexpected ways and one false move can ruin days of work. Jane takes a traditional medium and just finds pure joy in it.
